The name
Noun, Japanese · A fleeting moment in time
It's a reminder to slow down and notice the small things. The name gives the brand its purpose: jewellery that means something to the person wearing it.

MEET THE MAKER
A return to making
I'm Eve, the founder and maker behind setsuna. As the daughter of a seamstress, making things has always been part of who I am. I've been knitting, crocheting, drawing and painting since I was a child, and that love of creating led me to study graphic design and then to a career working as a digital product designer.
After years of designing for screens, much of it in fashion, I wanted to make something people could hold. I'd also struggled to find playful jewellery that was handmade in sterling silver, so I taught myself jewellery making and started creating my own.
Today, setsuna is my biggest creative outlet, a space where I can lose myself in the making and the materials.

Each bead is picked for its colour, texture and the way it sits next to the others, then strung with sterling silver findings made to be worn every day.

Soft, organic shapes with a natural lustre, so no two pieces are quite the same.

Gemstones, Czech and Japanese glass beads, chosen for their colour and texture.
